Our script and plan for Memory Lane
We will
use a woman with an American accent as a voice over for our film opening which
also states where our film is set.
Introduction: our
film will open with a romantic quote which will state that she is talking about
her husband who has passed away.
The screen will be black as the logo
appears and she will say “You don't sit down and write a wish list about the
person you are going to fall violently in love with. It just doesn't work that
way”
“Capture Productions
presents” will then appear on screen and our music will start.
Page one: fades into an over the shoulder shot and the camera
pans around her to shot the front of the book (music playing over the top as
the book is shown and opened)
Page two: (no speech just pictures moving and music)
Page three: (no speech just pictures moving and music)
Page four: you used to swing me around and hug me and I never
wanted you to let go.
Page five: (no speech just the sound of laughter)
Page six: January 17th the day you proposed, we
planned to grow old together; me losing you wasn’t part of my plan.
The camera then zooms
into the video and the film will start.

Summary of our story line
The story of our film "memory lane" is about a boy and a girl's relationship, the girl (Linda) comes from an upper class family and the boy (Edward) is working class. They meet each other in a milkshake bar and instantly fall in love. They are together only a few months before they get married and the story is about their life together. The story then becomes more sad as Edward becomes seriously ill and dies of cancer. The story is told through the Linda as an old lady looking through a scrap book of her life with Edward.
